Our restaurant spans over two floors, each providing a warm, inviting ambience that has been cherished by guests over the years. From intimate family gatherings to quick work lunches and milestone celebrations, we've hosted a diverse array of memorable experiences.
We happily welcome well-behaved dogs and their owners inside our downstairs restaurant and bar area.
However, at this time, we kindly ask that dogs do not accompany guests upstairs in our building.

OUR MENUS
All of our menus feature locally sourced produce wherever possible, and we are certain that you’ll be able to taste the quality. Dishes range seasonally from fresh, lively Summer plates to wholesome, comfort food in the Winter. We also aim to cater for different dietary requirements with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.

Head Chef Shane Sauvage brings over 13 years of experience to our kitchen, having honed his craft in some of the finest kitchens across the South of England. Passionate about bold, balanced flavour profiles, Shane takes pride in creating dishes that offer a fresh twist to the classics.
Our menu offers a versatile range of dishes — from grazing platters perfectly paired with our finest local ales or a glass of English sparkling wine to be shared over an afternoon catch-up with friends, to heartier plates like our Roasted Chicken Supreme served with pickled blackberries and confit carrot.
Shane’s menus are shaped by the seasons and the weather, drawing on the best of local and British produce. Whether it’s the first asparagus of spring or day-boat fish landed just down the coast, his approach is all about showcasing quality ingredients with creativity and care.
WHAT PEOPLE THINK
THE CAVE
Reserve our Cave for nibbles and drinks for small groups. It is quite snug so we would not recommend booking it for a full sit down meal, but it is perfect for informal gatherings!

THE GARDEN

Our beer garden collects the sunshine all day in the summer and is a popular spot for locals to spend the hours grazing on our sharing boards and sipping a crisp glass of white wine or a refreshing pint.

Please note, that we do not reserve our garden tables or outside patio dining tables, they are first come first served.

PRIVATE HIRE & EVENT SPACES
