There’s something rather special about Christmas at The Mount Edgcumbe. Gather around the table with family, friends or colleagues, warm up beside the open fire, enjoy a glass of homemade mulled wine and settle in for some delicious festive food.
Whether you’re planning a Christmas get-together with a large group or simply looking for somewhere special to enjoy a festive meal, we’d love to welcome you.
Festive Dining For Larger Groups
Our Festive Set Menu is available for groups of 9 to 20 guests, making it the perfect choice for Christmas parties, family gatherings and festive get-togethers.
We kindly ask that all guests dining from the Festive Set Menu pre-order their dishes in advance.
All larger group bookings are held in our Private Dining Rooms on the first floor, giving you a dedicated space to celebrate together- don't worry, we won't ask for any hiring charges.
Please note: our Private Dining Rooms are accessible by stairs only and, unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in this area.
For groups of more than 9 guests, we require a £10.00 per person deposit to secure your booking.

Christmas Party Set Menu 2026
Our festive set menu brings together comforting seasonal favourites and delicious Christmas dishes,
created especially for the festive season.
*Available from Friday, November the 20th to Saturday, December 26th*
(excluding Sundays & Christmas Day)
Additional Information for Christmas Large Bookings
Deposits: Deposits are refundable provided cancellations are made at least 7 days before the booking date.
Evening dining: All dinner bookings in the first-floor restaurant must be vacated by 10.30 pm at the latest.
Private Dining: Our Private Dining Rooms are located on the first floor and are accessible by stairs only. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in this area.
Christmas À La Carte
For bookings of up to 8 guests, you can reserve your table through our website or contact us by email or telephone.
Our Christmas A La Carte menu will be available throughout the festive season and will feature all of the festive dishes available on our Christmas Set Menu, alongside a selection of our much-loved à la carte dishes.
So whether you are joining us for a festive lunch with friends, a family get-together or a cosy Christmas dinner, you can still enjoy all your favourite dishes without needing to book as a larger group.
Our ground floor restaurant provides a relaxed and welcoming setting,
perfect for enjoying Christmas at The Mount Edgcumbe.
Please note that for all bookings of up to 8 people, we won't require a pre-order or a deposit.
